What is VOZUCA M 0.3MG?

VOZUCA M 0.3MG contains Metformin and Voglibose which controls blood sugar levels with diabetes called ‘type 2 diabetes mellitus’
VOZUCA M 0.3MG inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals

What VOZUCA M 0.3MG is used for?

VOZUCA M 0.3MG works by lowering the amount of sugar made by your body by improving the levels and effects of insulin after a meal

Warning & Precautions

Talk to your doctor before taking VOZUCA M 0.3MG, if you:

Are allergic to Metformin and Voglibose or to any of its ingredients
Have kidney or heart problems
Suffer from diabetic ketoacidosis
Drink a lot of alcohol
Have inflammatory bowel disease, colonic ulcerations or partial intestinal obstructions and patients being predisposed to intestinal obstruction
Have gastro-intestinal disorders

Interactions

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins and herbal supplements, any other antidiabetic drug or insulin

Directions & For Use

Take VOZUCA M 0.3MG exactly as prescribed
Your doctor will usually start you on a low dose and increase your dose slowly to control your blood sugar levels
Do not change your dose unless told to do so by your doctor
Swallow the tablets
Never crush or chew the tablet
If you take more VOZUCA M 0.3MG

If you take too much VOZUCA M 0.3MG or overdose, call your doctor right away
If you forget to take VOZUCA M 0.3MG

If you miss a dose of VOZUCA M 0.3MG resume dosing according to schedule
If you stop taking VOZUCA M 0.3MG

Do not stop taking this tablet before consulting your doctor

Side Effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Metformin

Metformin can cause a rare, but serious condition, called lactic acidosis where there is a buildup of an acid in the blood that can cause death

Storage

Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
