Tridon 50Mg Tablet is primarily administered for the treatment of major depressive disorders, insomnia and other psychological problems. It helps to induce slightly hypnotic effects, sleep and relaxation, that eventually relieves from anxiety. It helps to provide repose in case of agitation, and promotes significant improvement in case of obsessive-compulsive disorders. Other benefits are seen in cases of bulimia nervosa, panic disorder, recurrent nightmares, erectile dysfunction, alcohol withdrawal or schizophrenia.

Are there any missed dose instructions?

If you miss a dose of Trazodone, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Work

This medicine works by combining with the 5-HT2 receptor. It behaves as serotonin agonist when taken at high doses. Also, behaves as serotonin antagonist when taken in low doses. The antidepressant activity of its active constituent arises from obstruction of serotonin reuptake.
