Overview

Thyrowel Capsule is used for Underactive thyroid, Wilson’s disease, Vitamin b12 deficiency, Head injury and burns, Anaemia, Iron deficiencies, Deficiency of vitamin b12, Treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, Pregnancy, Infancy, Or childhood, Osteoporosis, Stomach cancer and other conditions. Thyrowel Capsule may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Thyrowel Capsule contains Elemental Iron, Elemental Selenium, Elemental Zinc, Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 as active ingredients.
Thyrowel Capsule works by works as a dietary supplement to fulfill the iron deficiencies and regulate oxygen in the blood; increasing the action of antioxidants; normalizing the reproductive and immune system for tissue renewal maintenance of skin and for bones health; acting on megaloblastic bone marrow to produce a normoblastic marrow; treating vitamin B12 deficiency;

Uses

Thyrowel Capsule is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
Underactive thyroid
Wilson’s disease
Vitamin b12 deficiency
Head injury and burns
Anaemia
Iron deficiencies
Deficiency of vitamin b12
Treatment of anemias of nutritional origin, pregnancy, infancy, or childhood
Osteoporosis
Stomach cancer

Side-effects

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Thyrowel Capsule. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.
Abdominal distention
Itching or mild rash
Loss of energy
Constipation
Pain in upper central abdomen
Diarrhea
Darky stool may occur
Vomiting
Urge to vomit
Gastrointestinal discomfort
Nausea
Nail changes
Irritability
Zinc along with quinolone or tetracycline antibiotics reduces the amount of both zinc
Thiazide diuretics increased the release of zinc through urine
Always consult your physician for the change of dose regimen or an alternative drug of choice that may strictly be required

Flatulence
Bitter or bad taste

Seizures in epileptic patients receiving phenobarbital, primidone, or diphenylhydantoin

Precautions

Before using Thyrowel Capsule, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
Administration of folic acid alone is improper therapy for pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias in which vitamin B12 is deficient
Any other dietary supplements
Avoid alcohol consumption, especially if having alcoholic cirrhosis
Breastfeeding
Children
Crohn’s disease
Folic acid deficiency
Folic acid in doses above 0.1 mg daily may obscure the diagnosis of pernicious anemia
Hemoglobin disease
Intestinal inflammation

Interactions with Thyrowel Capsule

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Thyrowel Capsule may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Thyrowel Capsule may interact with the following drugs and products:
Alcohol
Amiloride
Arsenic trioxide
Ascorbic acid
Aspirin
Barbiturates
Cetirizine
Chloramphenicol
Cholecalciferol
Cisplatin

When not to use Thyrowel Capsule

Hypersensitivity to Thyrowel Capsule is a contraindication. In addition, Thyrowel Capsule should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Allergic reactions
Fertility problems in men
High doses
Hypersensitivity
Intolerance to the drug
Leber’s disease
Multiple sclerosis

Rheumatoid arthritis
Skin cancer
Systemic lupus erythematosus
