Tenali Tablet 10’s belongs to the category of medicines called “anti-diabetic” primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes, especially in persons whose sugar levels are too high and cannot be controlled by dieting and exercising. It is used alone or in combination with other drugs to lower blood sugar levels. Drug Interactions

Drug-Drug Interaction: Tenali Tablet 10’s interacts with medicines used to treat diabetes (glipizide, gliclazide, glimepiride) medicines used to treat high blood pressure (atenolol, bisoprolol, metoprolol, nadolol, propranolol), anti-depressant (bupropion, selegiline, isocarboxazid, phenelzine), painkillers (aspirin).

Drug-Food Interaction: Intake of excessive alcoholic beverages may increase the chance of a life-threatening condition known as Lactic Acidosis. So, avoid intake of alcoholic beverages with Tenali Tablet 10’s.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Tenali Tablet 10’s should be used with caution in patients with a history of pancreatitis/pancreatic disease, heart disease, severe ketosis, diabetic coma or history of diabetic coma, severe infection, surgery, and severe trauma.
