Starpress-Xl 12.5 MG Tablet XL is a heart medicine that contains Metoprolol. It is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), angina pectoris (chest pain caused when your heart muscle does not get enough oxygen-rich blood), and arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat). Starpress-Xl 12.5 MG Tablet XL helps in preventing heart attack (a blockage of blood flow to the heart muscle) and stroke (damage to the brain from interruption of its blood supply). Starpress-Xl 12.5 MG Tablet XL works by reducing the rate and force of the contractions of your heart. Thus it decreases high blood pressure.
Starpress-Xl 12.5 MG Tablet XL may cause side effects like headache, breathing difficulty, low blood pressure, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist for a longer time. This medicine may also cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines after taking this medicine. Do not take Starpress-Xl 12.5 MG Tablet XL if you are allergic to it.

Allergy

Second or third-degree heart block
