Soltus 100
Soltus 100 tablets belong to a group of medications known as antipsychotics. The main ingredient is Amisulpride. It is used to treat symptoms of schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is characterised by disturbed
behaviour and altered thoughts and feelings. Soltus tablets are only prescribed by a well-trained physician and should be strictly used under his guidance only. Mode of Action of Soltus 100 MG
How Does It Work?
Soltus tablets contain Amisulpride as the main constituent. It works by decreasing the excessive activity of dopamine, which is a neurotransmitter in our central nervous system. It does so by blocking the receptors, which are associated with dopamine. Amisulpride falls under the category of atypical antipsychotics. It improves the negative symptoms of schizophrenia by its activity. It retains a high affinity for dopamine two and three receptors in our central nervous system. It is not a sedative, and the risk of weight gain and metabolic complications is low while using Amisulpride. It is absorbed orally and excreted in the urine in an unchanged form.

It can be taken on an empty stomach with a glass of plain water or as directed by your physician.

Missed a Dose
