About Risdone LS Tablet

Risdone LS Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl/Benzhexol. Risperidone is an atypical antipsychotic which works by balancing the levels of chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) to improve mood, thoughts, and behavior. Trihexyphenidyl/Benzhexol is an anticholinergic which works on the nervous system and corrects some of the chemical imbalances that cause Parkinson’s disease and certain side effects occurring during antipsychotic treatment.

Instructions for taking Risdone LS Tablet

Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Kindly seek your doctor’s advice for the proper dose and duration of the medicine.

Don’t miss your dose and always try to take the medicine at the fixed possible time. In case you miss a dose and it’s time for your next dose then instead of overdosing, take your next dose. Do not take 2 or more doses at the same time. Don’t change the dose or stop the medication without consulting your doctor.
