Description

Pilorute Cream is used for the treatment of haemorrhoids, commonly called piles. Haemorrhoids are swollen veins located in the lower portion of the anus or rectum which may cause discomfort and bleeding. This medicine helps in reducing the pain, swelling, itching, and discomfort that may be associated with piles.

Pilorute Cream may cause burning sensation, irritation, etc at the site of application. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen.

Pilorute Cream should be applied externally to the affected part of your skin as directed by your doctor. Continue using this medicine for the prescribed duration to effectively treat your condition.

Pilorute Cream should be avoided if you are allergic to it. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are planning a pregnancy, consult your doctor before using this medication.

Haemorrhoids
Haemorrhoids, commonly called piles, is a condition of swelling of veins (blood vessels) located in the anus or rectum. Lumps can occur inside the rectum (internal haemorrhoids) or below the skin around the anus (external haemorrhoids) or both the internal and external types can occur together. Symptoms may include pain and discomfort while sitting or passing stools.
Pilorute Cream is used to reduce symptoms such as pain, discomfort, itching, and bleeding that may be associated with haemorrhoids.

When not to use?

Allergy
Avoid Pilorute Cream if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of your face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.

Warnings

Pregnancy

Dosage

Missed Dose
Apply the missed dose of Pilorute Cream as soon as you remember. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Since Pilorute Cream is intended for external use, the likelihood of side effects due to an overdose is low. However, do not apply more than the prescribed dose.

Interactions

General Instructions
Pilorute Cream is meant for external use only. Use it as directed by your doctor.

Close the cover of the tube immediately after use to keep it clean and free from contamination. Do not wipe or rinse the tip of the tube.

Use Pilorute Cream at around the same time every day for the ease of remembrance.

Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless directed by your doctor.

Do not give Pilorute Cream to others even if their condition appears to be the same as yours.
