Pentanerv-NT 100 Mg/10 Mg Tablet is a prescriptive drug containing Gabapentin and Nortriptyline, primarily used to prevent postherpetic neuralgia, neuropathic pain and seizures. It belongs to a class of drugs called anticonvulsants and antidepressant, respectively.

Pentanerv Nt 100 Mg/10 Mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Gabapectin and Nortriptyllin. The former ingredient is an alpha-2-delta ligand which decreases the pain by modulating the calcium channel activity of the nerve cells, whereas the latter one is a tricyclic antidepressant that increases the level of serotonin and nor-adrenaline (chemical messengers) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Together, both the ingredients relieve the neuropathic pain, which was generated from the damaged nerves.
