NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET belongs to the group of medicines called ‘beta-blockers’ used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET is also used to treat mild and moderate heart failure in patients aged 70 years and older in addition to other therapies. High blood pressure is a health condition in which the pressure in the blood vessels is high. The blood exerts elevated pressure on the walls of blood vessels leading to hypertension. Heart failure occurs when the heart isn’t able to pump sufficient blood to the remaining parts of the body.

NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET contains ‘Nebivolol’ that relaxes and widens the blood vessels making it easier for the heart to pump blood to all parts of the body. This helps in decreasing the blood pressure and the risk of having a heart attack or stroke. NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET helps in preventing increased heart rate and controls heart pumping strength.

Take NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET with or without food. Do not chew, break, or crush the tablet; swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Take NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET at the same time every day. You are advised to take NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as headache, nausea, dizziness, weakness, shortness of breath, low blood pressure, diarrhoea, unusual itching or tingling sensation, constipation, swollen feet, and hands. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are recommended to talk to your doctor if you experience any of these side-effects persistently.

To treat your condition effectually, continue taking NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. Try not to stop taking it on your own as it may suddenly increase blood pressure, chest pain, or heart attack. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water as a whole. Do not chew, break, or crush the tablet. You can take NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET with or without food. Take NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET at the same time daily for best results. Take NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET exactly as prescribed by your doctor. NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET should not be taken unless prescribed by a doctor. Based on your medical condition, your doctor will advise for how long you need to take NEBISTAR 10MG TABLET.
