Nebicard H Tablet 15’s belongs to the class of anti-hypertensives primarily taken to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and reduce stroke risk in patients with high blood pressure. Nebicard H Tablet 15’s is a combination medication generally used when a single medicine is unable to control high blood pressure. Hypertension or high blood pressure is a life-long or chronic condition in which the force exerted against the artery wall becomes too high. It can lead to the risk of heart diseases, like heart attack and stroke.

Nebicard H Tablet 15’s is a combination of Nebivolol (beta-blockers/ blood pressure-lowering medicines) and Hydrochlorothiazide (thiazide diuretic or water pill). Nebivolol is a beta-blocker that works exactly on the heart to decrease heart rate and make the heart more effective at pumping blood all over the body. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that prevents absorption of excess salt in the body, preventing fluid retention by removing the extra salts and water from the body. Together it lowers blood pressure and prevents the risk of stroke, heart attack and oedema (fluid overload).

You can take Nebicard H Tablet 15’s with food or empty stomach simultaneously every day. It should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Your doctor will advise you how often you take your tablets based on your medical condition. You may experience nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, fatigue, headache, dizziness, decreased potassium level in the blood, increased blood uric acid, altered blood lipid level, breathlessness, swelling of hands & feet, paresthesia (burning sensation of the skin), decreased magnesium level in the blood, increased calcium level in blood. Most of these side effects of Nebicard H Tablet 15’s do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Do not use if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, stop taking Nebicard H Tablet 15’s and tell your doctor right away. Before starting Nebicard H Tablet 15’s, please inform your doctor if you have any allergies, hypersensitivity, liver problems, anuria (kidney is a failure to produce urine) and sulphonamide allergy. Do not use this Nebicard H Tablet 15’s during breastfeeding.
