Moxilong 0.2 Tablet (Moxonidine 0.2mg)

Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s belongs to the group of medicines called Antihypertensive used in the management of high blood pressure. High blood pressure is a medical condition in which the blood exerts high pressure against the walls of the arteries (blood vessels). This, increase the workload of the heart, and if it continues for a long time, the heart and arteries may not function properly. It can damage the arteries of the heart, brain, and kidneys failure. However, lowering blood pressure may reduce the risk of stroke and heart attacks.

Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s contains ‘Moxonidine’ which relaxes and widens the blood vessels making it easier for the heart to pump blood to all parts of the body. This, in turn, helps in decreasing the raised blood pressure and the risk of having a heart attack or stroke in the future, especially for people with high blood pressure.

Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s is available in tablet forms. It can be taken with or without food and swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it.  Your doctor will recommend how often you take Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s based on your medical condition. Some people may experience dry mouth, dizziness, weakness (asthenia), rash or itching, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), nausea, vomiting, and indigestion. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are recommended to speak to your doctor if you experience these side effects.

If you are allergic to Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s.  Regular monitoring of blood pressure, electrolyte levels, and kidney functioning is advised while taking Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s. You are advised to consume low salt and low-fat diet while taking Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s. Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s should not be given to children unless prescribed by the doctor. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s as it might increase certain side effects. Keep your doctor informed about all the medicines you are taking and your health condition to rule out any unpleasant side effects.

Swallow the tablet with a glass of water as a whole. Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet. Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s can be taken with or without food at the same time daily for best results. Take Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s should not be taken unless prescribed by a doctor. Your doctor will advise for how long you need to take Moxilong-0.2 Tablet 10’s based on your medical condition.

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight
