Description
Moxicip 400 MG Infusion is an antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial infections that affect the skin, lungs, nose, stomach, and intestine. It works by blocking the action of an enzyme required for bacterial multiplication. This prevents further growth and kills the infection-causing bacteria.
Moxicip 400 MG Infusion may cause some common side effects such as stomach pain, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting, headache, dizziness, etc. It may also cause pain/redness at the injection site. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, inform your doctor if these symptoms become severe.
Moxicip 400 MG Infusion is administered by a qualified healthcare professional in a clinical or hospital setting. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment based on your condition. Hence, follow the instructions given by your doctor. This medication is effective only for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria and not viruses.
Moxicip 400 MG Infusion is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, heart, or liver problems before starting the treatment. It is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.
