Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to minocycline or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.

General warnings
Photosensitivity
This medicine may increase the risk of sunburn reaction. It is advised that you do not get exposed to sunlight while receiving this medicine. Patients should be counseled about these reactions and should discontinue the treatment if any symptoms of skin rash appear.
Hypersensitivity reactions
This medicine may cause anaphylaxis or serious hypersensitivity reactions such as erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, skin rashes, etc. in some patients. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition.
Use in children
This medicine is not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.
Drug resistance
Usage of this medicine without sufficient proof or suspicion of a bacterial infection should be avoided. Irrational dosing might fail in providing the benefits and even cause toxicity. It may also increase the risk of developing bacteria that are drug-resistant.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

General Instructions

Take this medicine exactly as instructed by your doctor. Drink an adequate amount of water to prevent irritation. Do not take it in larger or smaller quantities than prescribed/advised. Ensure that the course of treatment is completed. Report any severe undesired side effects to the doctor immediately. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
