Mignar 50Mg Tablet is a medicine which is used to control blood sugar levels in people who suffer from Type 2 Diabetes. Are there any missed dose instructions?

If you miss a dose of Miglitol, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Work

This medication works by reversible blocking of membrane-bound a-glucoside hydrolase enzymes, causes an antihyperglycemic action. Oligosaccharides and disaccharides are hydrolyzed to glucose by membrane-bound intestinal a-glucosidases. Therefore, glucose absorption in diabetes patients is prolonged.
