Metol Xl 25mg Tablet 10’s belongs to a group of medicines called as beta-blockers used alone or together with other medicines to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), heart related chest pain (angina) and protect heart after heart attack (myocardial infarction). Besides this, it also help in relieving symptoms of migraine related headache and tremors (fits). High blood pressure adds to the workload of the heart and arteries.

Metol Xl 25mg Tablet 10’s can reduce symptoms of too much thyroid hormone (thyrotoxicosis) and can be taken together with thyroid related medicines to treat an overactive thyroid.

Metol Xl 25mg Tablet 10’s can be taken orally with or without food or as directed by your doctor. Swallow the whole tablet with approximately a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it. It is preferable to take the drug at the same time every day for better results. Never take an overdose to make up for a forgotten one.
