Description

Marzon Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used to treat bacterial infections in lungs, heart, brain, genital areas, etc.
caused by susceptible bacteria. It should be used with caution in patients with kidney diseases due to the increased risk of adverse effects.

What is it prescribed for?
Bacterial infections
This medicine may be used in the treatment of bacterial infections such as gynecological infections, intra-abdominal infections, skin and skin structure infections, urinary tract infections, etc caused by susceptible strains of bacteria.

When not to use?

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to ampicillin, sulbactam, other beta-lactam antibiotics, or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.
Liver Disease
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of jaundice or liver function impairment associated with the use of ampicillin-sulbactam due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Clostridium difficile-associated Diarrhea
Antibiotic therapy will cause an imbalance in the normal microbial flora of the large intestine, which may promote the growth of a bacteria called Clostridium difficile and you may experience severe diarrhea as a result. Report any such incidence to the doctor on priority. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition.
Mononucleosis
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with mononucleosis due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be considered based on the clinical condition.
Skin Reactions
This medicine should be used with caution since it may increase the risk of serious skin reactions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome, Toxic epidermal necrolysis, etc. Report any unusual symptoms to the doctor on priority. Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
