Description

Lox Heavy 2 % Injection contains Lidocaine that is used to numb a specific area of your body to reduce pain and discomfort caused by surgical procedures such as needle punctures, insertion of a catheter or breathing tube, dental procedures, etc. This medicine blocks the pain signals from the nerves to your brain, thus it helps in painless procedures.

When not to use?

Allergy
Do not receive Lox Heavy 2 % Injection if you have a known allergy to this medicine. Seek medical attention if you come across any allergic reactions such as a skin rash, hives (itchy, painful eruptions that sting), swelling (face, lips, tongue, etc.), breathing difficulty, etc.
Heart block
Heart block is a condition in which the electrical impulse that controls the heartbeat gets partially or completely blocked. Lox Heavy 2 % Injection may worsen your heart condition.
Hypovolemia
Lox Heavy 2 % Injection is not recommended for use in individuals with hypovolemia (low blood volume) as it may worsen this condition.

Warnings

Warnings for special population
Pregnancy
Lox Heavy 2 % Injection is generally safe to use in pregnant women. However, your doctor will give this medicine if the benefits outweigh the risk.
Breast-feeding
