Lasix 40 MG Tablet is a diuretic (water pill), a medicine that helps to remove water and sodium from the body through urine. It is used alone or in combination with other medicines for the treatment of high blood pressure. It is also used to treat excess fluid build-up in the body tissues, mostly in the feet, ankles, and legs, due to various conditions such as heart, liver, or kidney disease.
Lasix 40 MG Tablet show side effects like electrolyte imbalance, low blood pressure, headache, dehydration, frequent urination, etc. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen. It may also cause dizziness or vision disturbance in some cases. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel dizzy or your vision is not clear after taking this medicine. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it.
Lasix 40 MG Tablet may be taken with or without food. Your doctor may determine the dose and duration of treatment based on your clinical condition. Consult your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as dryness of your mouth, increased thirst, weakness, lethargy, muscle cramps, drowsiness, low blood pressure, etc. Your doctor may closely monitor your kidney function and electrolyte levels during treatment with this medicine.
