About Kenz Tablet
Kenz Tablet 10’s belongs to a class of drugs called ‘antifungal’ primarily used to treat fungal infections of the skin like ringworm, jock itch, athlete’s foot, seborrheic dermatitis (dry, flaky skin on the face, scalp, chest, upper back or ears) and pityriasis (a type of skin rash that causes scaly, discoloured patches on chest, back, legs and arms).
Kenz Tablet 10’s works by causing holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi and yeast. Kenz Tablet 10’s is available in both topical and oral dosage forms. The topical form of Kenz Tablet 10’s can be taken on the finger and applied as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area. Avoid contact of Kenz Tablet 10’s with nose, mouth or eyes. In case Kenz Tablet 10’s comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.
Common side effects nausea, headache, diarrhoea, stomach pain and abnormal liver function test results. Some people using a topical form of Kenz Tablet 10’s may experience dry skin, itching, redness or burning sensation of the skin. Most of these side effects of Kenz Tablet 10’s do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Kenz Tablet 10’s can cause liver failure, so your doctor will monitor your liver function while you’re taking Kenz Tablet 10’s. Directions for Use
Topically (cream/gel): Wash and dry the infected area of skin. Take a small amount of Kenz Tablet 10’s on the finger and gently rub on the clean and dry affected area and surrounding skin. Kenz Tablet 10’s is only for external use. Avoid contact of Kenz Tablet 10’s with nose, mouth or eyes. In case Kenz Tablet 10’s comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Wash your hands before and after using Kenz Tablet 10’s if hands are not the affected area to prevent the spread of infection.Shampoo: Use Kenz Tablet 10’s in shampoo form as prescribed by your doctor only. Wash your hair with Kenz Tablet 10’s and leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes. Then, rinse thoroughly.Orally: If you are prescribed Kenz Tablet 10’s in oral form, swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water. Take Kenz Tablet 10’s with food to avoid stomach upset. Do not break, crush or chew it.

Kenz Tablet 10’s should not be used for the treatment of fungal infections of the fingernails/toenails, prostate cancer or Cushing’s syndrome. Kenz Tablet 10’s could make your skin sensitive to the sunlight and cause sunburn more quickly, so try to avoid direct exposure to the sunlight. Apply sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) whenever go outdoors.
Drug Interactions
Drug-Drug Interaction: Kenz Tablet 10’s may interact with drugs used to treat heartburn and acidity (omeprazole), immunosuppressant (cyclosporin), glucocorticoids (fluticasone, hydrocortisone), antifungal (fluconazole), antidepressants (escitalopram), blood cholesterol-lowering medicines (atorvastatin), bronchodilators (albuterol), blood thinners (warfarin), laxative (polyethylene glycol 3350), antianxiety drug (alprazolam).
Drug-Food Interaction: Kenz Tablet 10’s may interact with caffeine-containing tea, coffee, cola and energy drinks as it may increase the adverse effects of caffeine. Do not take marijuana with Kenz Tablet 10’s as it may worsen the adverse effects of marijuana. Also, avoid consumption of alcohol with Kenz Tablet 10’s as it may increase the risk of liver damage
Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have asthma, sulphite allergy, an autoimmune disorder, heart or liver problems, inform your doctor before taking Kenz Tablet 10’s.
