Galop 10 MG
Galop 10 Tablet is a prescription medication commonly used for the treatment of major depressive disorder and panic disorder with or without agoraphobia (fear of open or crowded places). Depression and
anic disorders are types of mood disorders that affect how you feel. These conditions can interfere with regular daily activities. They can be caused by sudden triggers like stress, trauma, etc. Galop 10 Tablets contain a single active ingredient: escitalopram. Escitalopram is an antidepressant medicine. It works by increasing a chemical substance that is responsible for elevating the mood, improving energy and reducing nervousness. These tablets work by reducing the excess activity of nerves in the brain. It can also have a calming and sedative effect. The dose of Galop Tablet should be carefully monitored, especially in older patients and patients with liver and kidney disorders. Even though it does not cause physical dependency, the dose of this medicine should be monitored because it can cause psychological dependency if used for a long duration. You should inform the doctor of your medical history and treatments, as this medicine can interact with many other medicines and have undesirable side effects.

How Does It Work?
The Galop Tablet has a single active ingredient: escitalopram. Escitalopram increases serotonin levels in the brain by blocking its reuptake by nerve cells in the brain. Serotonin is a natural chemical substance in the body, responsible for stabilising the mood, causing feelings of well-being or happiness, etc. It can also help in other functions like sleeping, eating, and digestion. Increased levels of serotonin can lower the excess nerve cell activity in the brain, which can help in managing symptoms of depression, regulating mood and anxiety.
