Eumosone-M Cream (Clobetasone 0.05% / Miconazole 2%)

Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm is a combination medicine used to treat skin infections caused by fungi such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm, tinea versicolor. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).

Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm is a combination of two medicines, namely: Miconazole (antifungal) and Clobetasone (steroid). Miconazole works by preventing the formation of fungal protective covering, thereby stops their growth. Clobetasone works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Together, Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm helps in treating skin infections.

Use Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm as prescribed. You are advised to use Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not use Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm if you have had a skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine. Consult your doctor before using Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area. Take a pea-sized amount onto your finger and apply it directly onto the affected area and gently massage it in. Based on your condition, your doctor will decide for how long you need to use Eumosone-M Cream 15 gm.
