Description

Esiflo 250 Transcaps is a combination of Fluticasone Propionate and Salmeterol. This medicine is used to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulty, coughing, etc. caused by asthma (a condition that causes narrowing of the airways) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (lung conditions in which the airflow is blocked, leading to breathing difficulty). It works by relaxing and widening the muscles in your airways.

Esiflo 250 Transcaps may cause some side effects like headache, throat irritation, stuffy nose, and hoarseness of voice. Inform your doctor if these side effects remain for a long time or become severe. Avoid using it if you are allergic to it.

Esiflo 250 Transcaps should be used in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. For the ease of remembering, use it around the same time every day. Even if you see an improvement in your condition, do not stop using it. If you discontinue this medicine early, your symptoms may reoccur. It should not be used to relieve sudden asthma attacks.

Esiflo 250 Transcaps may not be suitable for all people. It is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. When not to use?

Allergy

Status asthmaticus
Status asthmaticus is a severe form of asthma that is sudden and does not respond to standard treatments. These attacks can last for several minutes or even hours. Esiflo 250 Transcaps is not recommended for use if you have status asthmaticus as it is not effective in treating this condition.

Dosage

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of Esiflo 250 Transcaps, administer the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment in case of an overdose of Esiflo 250 Transcaps.
