Dazit M Tablet

Dazit M Tablet is a combination of Montelukast and Desloratadine. This medicine is used to relieve allergy symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, redness of your nose, watery eyes, itching, rash etc. It stops the action of a natural substance called histamine produced in your body during an allergic reaction.

Dazit M Tablet may show some side effects like dry mouth, sore throat, muscle pain, drowsiness and tiredness. Do not drive vehicles or operate machines that require high mental alertness after taking this medicine. If you notice any severe side effects, consult your doctor immediately.

Dazit M Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration will be prescribed by your doctor. For the ease of remembering, take this medicine around the same time every day. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so. Abrupt discontinuation may worsen your condition.

Dazit M Tablet may interact with the action of other medicines. Inform your doctor about any other health issues like liver, kidney, heart troubles or if you are undergoing any medical treatment before taking this medicine. What is it prescribed for?

When not to use?

Allergy
Avoid taking Dazit M Tablet if you are previously allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching/swelling of the face/tongue/throat, breathing difficulties, etc.

Dosage

Missed Dose
If you missed a dose of Dazit M Tablet at a given time, then take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose of Dazit M Tablet. If you suspect that you might have taken an overdose of this medicine, go to the emergency department of your local hospital.

General Instructions

Take Dazit M Tablet with or without food.
Do not take in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed.
Consult your doctor if you experience any side effects.
Ensure that the course of treatment is completed.
