Cofsils Orange Lozenges 200’s belongs to a class of medications called ‘antiseptics’ primarily used to treat sore throat. It provides fast, soothing and effective relief from pain and discomfort associated with sore throats and cough. A sore throat is a painful, dry, or scratchy feeling in the throat that can occur with or without swallowing. Most sore throats are caused by infections such as a cold or flu, or by environmental factors like dry air.

Cofsils Orange Lozenges 200’s is a combination drug containing two medicines: Amylmetacresol and Benzyl alcohol primarily used to reduce pain and discomfort associated with sore throats and cough. Amylmetacresol works by killing the bacteria associated with mouth and throat infections. It also works in the area of discomfort and helps lubricate and soothe the painful sore throat. Benzyl alcohol an antiseptic with local anaesthetic activity works against infectious bacteria. It gives a soothing and cooling effect on the sore throat.

Cofsils Orange Lozenges 200’s is available in lozenges form. Some people may experience a sore tongue. The side effects of Cofsils Orange Lozenges 200’s do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

If you are allergic to Cofsils Orange Lozenges 200’s, please tell your doctor. Check with your doctor if you are taking any other prescribed or non-prescribed drugs. Increase the intake of fluids so that the mucus present loosens and the throat is remains lubricated.
