Budate 200 MCG Inhaler is used to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulties, coughing, etc. caused by asthma. This medicine is a corticosteroid (medicines that help in reducing pain, swelling and irritation of the affected part). Budate 200 MCG Inhaler reduces swelling and irritation in your lungs. It is used for the maintenance treatment of asthma and is not indicated in the treatment of an ongoing asthma attack.

Budate 200 MCG Inhaler may cause some side effects like thrush (a fungal infection), sore throat, cough and hoarse voice. Inform your doctor if the side effects become severe or persist for a long time.

Budate 200 MCG Inhaler should be used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. For the ease of remembering, use it around the same time every day. Even if you see an improvement in your condition, do not stop taking it. If you discontinue the use of this medicine early, your symptoms may return or worsen.

Budate 200 MCG Inhaler may interact with the action of other medicines like steroids. Inform your doctor about any other health issues like liver, kidney, heart troubles or if you are undergoing any medical treatment before taking this medicine. Asthma is a condition in which there is an inflammation (swelling and redness) of airways characterized by breathing difficulty. Budate 200 MCG Inhaler is used to prevent the symptoms of asthma, such as breathing difficulty, chest tightness, wheezing and coughing.

When not to use?

Allergy
Avoid taking Budate 200 MCG Inhaler if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching/swelling (of your face/tongue/throat), breathing difficulties, etc.
Status asthmaticus
Budate 200 MCG Inhaler is not recommended for use as a first-line treatment in status asthmatics (a severe attack where airways of your lungs are constricted) as first-line therapy because it is not effective in treating this condition.

Dosage

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of Budate 200 MCG Inhaler, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact your doctor in case of an overdose of Budate 200 MCG Inhaler.

General Instructions

Use Budate 200 MCG Inhaler exactly as advised by your doctor.
Do not use in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed.
