Amtas LP Tablet (Amlodipine 5mg / Lisinopril 5mg)

Amtas-Lp (5/5 mg) Tablet is a combination of Amlodipine and Lisinopril. It is an anti-hypertensive medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. It relaxes your heart muscles and widens the blood vessels which decreases blood pressure and helps your heart to pump blood more effectively throughout your body.

Amtas-Lp (5/5 mg) Tablet shows common side effects like cough, dizziness, headache, tiredness, nausea, stomach pain, swelling in your ankles or feet. These symptoms generally disappear with time, contact your doctor immediately if they persist for a long time. Amtas-Lp (5/5 mg) Tablet may cause dizziness and drowsiness, so avoid driving or taking part in work that requires concentration.

Amtas-Lp (5/5 mg) Tablet can be taken with or without food. Do not stop taking Amtas-Lp (5/5 mg) Tablet without your doctor’s recommendation as it can lead to a sudden increase in blood pressure. You should be careful while getting up suddenly from a sitting or lying down position, as this medicine can cause dizziness and fainting in some cases.

Amtas-Lp (5/5 mg) Tablet can interact with other medicines. Inform your doctor about any medications that you may be taking and also about any medical conditions that you may be having like heart and liver problems. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding.
