AMITONE 25MG TABLET belongs to a group of medicines called ‘tricyclic antidepressants‘ used to treat depression, neuropathic pain, chronic tension-type headache, and migraine in adults. Additionally, AMITONE 25MG TABLET is also used to treat bedwetting at night in children aged 6 years and above. Depression is a mood disorder that affects a person’s daily life described as feelings of sadness, loss, or anger.  AMITONE 25MG TABLET works by increasing the amounts of certain natural substances in the brain required to maintain mental balance.

AMITONE 25MG TABLET contains Amitriptyline that works by affecting certain chemical messengers (serotonin, norepinephrine) in the brain which communicate between brain cells, thereby helping in the regulation of mood and preventing depression. Besides this, AMITONE 25MG TABLET also the transmission of pain signals, thereby provides relief from neuropathic pain.

Take AMITONE 25MG TABLET with or without food. The tablet form should be swallowed as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or crush the tablet. The liquid form of AMITONE 25MG TABLET should be taken by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack; shake the pack well before each use.
