Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet (Aceclofenac 200mg / Rabeprazole 20mg)

Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet is a combination of two medicines. It is used to reduce pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also be used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose will depend on what you are taking it for and how well it helps your symptoms. You should take it as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by the doctor.

The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, flatulence, indigestion, diarrhea, and constipation. If any of these side effects bother you or get worse, you should speak to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing the side effects.

Before taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of ulcer or bleeding in your stomach, high blood pressure, or have any trouble with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting treatment. You should also avoid drinking alcohol while you are taking this medicine, as alcohol can cause excessive drowsiness.

Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis

Ace-Proxyvon  Tablet 10’s is a combination of two drugs: Aceclofenac (painkiller) and Rabeprazole (antacid). Aceclofenac belongs to the class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (pain killers) that block the effect of a chemical messenger in your body, known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical ‘prostaglandins’ (PG). Prostaglandins play an important role in controlling pain and inflammation. By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, lesser PGs are produced. Thereby, it helps relieve pain and swelling associated with different types of arthritis such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis (pain and stiffness in the backbone). On the other hand, Rabeprazole belongs to proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) that help reduce the excess amount of stomach acid and bile produced. Aceclofenac has been reported to cause gastric discomfort and acidity. Hence, it is combined with Rabeprazole, a medicine that reduces the amount of acid made by the stomach, thus preventing damage to the stomach. Thus, the combination is superior as it helps alleviate pain with minimal gastric irritation caused due to Aceclofenac alone. Ace-Proxyvon  Tablet 10’s also used to relieve toothache, lower back pain, ear pain and throat pain.

Tablet/capsule: Take Ace-Proxyvon  Tablet 10’s with food as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet/capsule. Take AceProxyvon  Tablet 10’s exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet 10’s should not be taken unless prescribed by a doctor. Based on your medical condition, your doctor will advise for how long you need to take Ace-Proxyvon CR Tablet 10’s.
