Trinicalm Plus Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used for the treatment of Schizophrenia, Parkinson’s disease, Anxiety, and extrapyramidal symptoms caused by other medicines. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age.

What is it prescribed for?
Schizophrenia

Anxiety

Parkinson’s disease

This medicine may be used in the treatment of extrapyramidal symptoms like restlessness, muscle spasms, and contractions caused by medicines belongs to class phenothiazines, thioxanthenes, and butyrophenones.

Allergy

CNS Depression

Narrow-angle glaucoma

Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome

Tardive dyskinesia
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with tardive dyskinesia which is an involuntary movement of the tongue, lips, and face unless the patient has concomitant Parkinson’s disease due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition. Infectious Diarrhea
This medicine decreases the elimination of bacteria that cause diarrhea, therefore, not recommended in patients with infectious diarrhea. Inform the doctor if you are having severe diarrhea or received antibiotics before receiving this medicine.
Hypertension
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with hypertension due to the increased risk of high blood pressure. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is necessary while receiving these medicines.
