Medical Description

Zurig Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of elevated uric acid levels in blood in conditions such as gouty arthritis. Gouty arthritis is a common type of arthritis that is very painful with deposition of uric acid in joints causing sudden attacks of redness, swelling, pain and heat. Zurig Tablet contains febuxostat as active ingredient. It works by decreasing the formation of uric acid in the body. Before initiating the treatment with this medicine inform your doctor about your complete medical history and if you are allergic to this medicine.

Uses of Zurig 80 MG

Zurig Tablet used in the treatment of chronic hyperuricemia (elevated uric acid levels in the blood) where such deposition has already occurred in conditions like gouty arthritis.

If you are allergic to febuxostat or any other ingredient of this medicine.

This medicine is not recommended to be used in children and adolescents.
You are a pregnant or nursing woman.

However, if it’s time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
