Medical Description

Voxate Tablet contains flavoxate whichh is an antispasmodic selective to the urinary tract. It has analgesic and local anaesthetic effect.

Hypersensitivity
Gastro-intestinal haemorrhage
Urinary retention
Glaucoma
Myasthenia gravis

How Does It Work?
Voxate Tablet works by accumulating intracellular cyclic AMP and blocks calcium activity.

Directions for Use of Voxate 200 MG

Voxate Tablet is administered orally. The tablets should be taken after a meal to prevent nausea.

Interactions of Voxate 200 MG

Interactions with other medicines
Aspirin decreases the excretion rate of flavoxate
Flavoxate increases the CNS depressant activites of acetophenazine
Flavoxate when combined with atropine increases the adverse effects
If you consume other medications, do mention it to your physician before administering Voxate Tablet

Storage and disposal of Voxate 200 MG

Store below 30°C in a cool and dry place.

Dosage of Voxate 200 MG

Overdose
No Voxate Tablet overdose incidents, unintentional or purposeful have been observed
Do seek immediate medical attention if you over dose
Missed a Dose
If you miss a dose of Voxate Tablet, ask your physician for a new dose schedule. Do not take double doses.
