Description

Volitra Plus Gel is a combination of Diclofenac, Linseed Oil, Menthol, Methyl Salicylate and Capsaicin. It is used to relieve pain and swelling from sports injuries and sprains. It also relieves joint pain due to arthritis (swelling of the joints). It works by blocking the action of certain chemicals responsible for pain and swelling.

Volitra Plus Gel may rarely cause rashes, itching and redness in the application site. Perform a patch test before using this gel to know how this medicine reacts on your skin. Avoid using this medicine if you see any abnormal reaction in the applied area.

Volitra Plus Gel is for external use only. Wash and dry the affected area. Apply a thin layer of the medicine. Avoid covering the affected area or using hot bags. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nose, and open wounds as it can cause irritation.

Volitra Plus Gel is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Consult your doctor if your symptoms are not getting better after few days of using this medicine.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Volitra Plus Gel is generally used on an as-needed basis. However, if you are on a scheduled dosing regimen of this medicine, apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
An overdose of Volitra Gel is not likely to cause severe symptoms. However, ingestion of this medicine is harmful and immediate medical attention is needed in such cases.

Interactions

General Instructions
Volitra Plus Gel is meant for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth and open wounds.

Wash your hands before and after applying for this medicine. Gently massage Volitra Gel over the affected area. Allow the gel to dry for at least 10 minutes before you cover the applied skin.

Do not cover the applied area with bandages or apply heat to that area.

Keep Volitra  Gel away from children and pets.

Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after a few days of using this medicine.
