About Tenoclor 25 Tablet
TENOCLOR 25MG TABLET belongs to the class of medicine called ‘antihypertensive’ used for the management of high blood pressure. High blood pressure adds to the workload of the heart and arteries. If it continues for a long time, the heart and arteries may not function properly. This can damage the blood vessels of the brain, heart, and kidneys, resulting in a stroke, heart failure, or kidney failure. Lowering blood pressure may reduce the risk of stroke and heart attacks.
TENOCLOR 25MG TABLET consists of two medicines namely Atenolol and Chlorthalidone. Atenolol is a beta-blocker that works by making the heartbeat with less intensity and more steadily. Chlorthalidone is a diuretics (water pill) that reduces the amount of water (fluid) in the body by increasing the flow of urine that your kidneys generate.
TENOCLOR 25MG TABLET can be taken orally with or without food or as directed by your physician. Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it. TENOCLOR 25MG TABLET is preferable to take at the same time every day for better results.
TENOCLOR 25MG TABLET is generally safe to consume. Some people may experience low pulse rate (Slower-than-expected heart rate), cold extremities (a problem with the nerves or blood circulation or a problem with tissue damage in your hands or fingers), diarrhoea, nausea, and fatigue (feeling tired). Most of the side effects of TENOCLOR 25MG TABLET do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor. It is advisable to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine to overcome muscle weakness, dry mouth, and extreme thirst. Do not take grapefruit or grapefruit juices with TENOCLOR 25MG TABLET as it can increase the concentration of TENOCLOR 25MG TABLET and worsen its side effects.
Don’t stop taking $ name without talking to your doctor first. Stopping TENOCLOR 25MG TABLET gradually may cause changes in your heart rhythm and blood pressure, cause chest pain, or a heart attack. Your doctor will lower your dose gradually over a period of time to help prevent these symptoms. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from any kidney or liver or heart disease. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please tell your doctor so that the dosage of TENOCLOR 25MG TABLET can be prescribed accordingly. Please tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines or are allergic to TENOCLOR 25MG TABLET.
