S Amlosafe 5 MG Tablet is known to be a calcium channel blocker. Thus, it effectively treats hypertension and angina, that is, pain in the chest. The drug reduces the effect of calcium in the body, increasing blood flow to and from the heart as well as the blood vessels in the body. This in turn helps lower blood pressure of the body, regulate erratic heartbeat and relaxes the heart.

The dosage of S Amlosafe 5 MG Tablet and the duration it needs to be taken for, depends on the extent of your condition. The drug can be taken orally either with food or without. The drug should be swallowed whole. S Amlosafe 5 MG Tablet is most effective when it is not chewed or crushed. It is most effective if the entire prescribed course is completed.
