Description

Rosys FT (10/145 mg) Tablet is a combination of Rosuvastatin and Fenofibrate. It is a medicine used in the treatment of high blood cholesterol and triglycerides (fats) levels. This medicine works by blocking the production of unhealthy fats in your body and prevents the risk of heart problems and stroke (a condition that causes reduced oxygen supply to the brain).

Rosys FT (10/145 mg) Tablet has some side effects like headache, nausea, weakness, muscle pain, and stomach pain. These side effects are mild and may subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if these side effects last for a long time or become severe. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medicine as it may cause liver damage.

Rosys FT (10/145 mg) Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take the dose as directed by your doctor. Take it regularly at the same time for the ease of remembering. A high level of fats circulating in your blood may deposit in your blood vessels and increase the risk of heart problems. Hence, Rosys FT (10/145 mg) Tablet is used to prevent the risk of heart attack and stroke (a condition that occurs due to insufficient blood supply to your brain).

When not to use?

Allergy
Avoid taking Rosys FT (10/145 mg) Tablet if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
Active liver disease

This medicine may further increase the risk of gallstones due to increased excretion of cholesterol into the bile (a fluid produced in the liver that helps in digestion).

Hematologic changes

Hence, periodic monitoring of kidney function is recommended while taking this medicine.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Try not to skip a dose of Rosys FT (10/145 mg) Tablet. In case you missed a dose, take it immediately. However, if the delay is more than 12 hours, skip the dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose of Rosys FT (10/145 mg) Tablet. Seek emergency medical treatment in case of an overdose.
