Description
Rosuvas F (5/160 mg) Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of Rosuvastatin and Fenofibrate. It is used in the treatment of high blood cholesterol and triglycerides (fats) levels. This medicine works by blocking the production of unhealthy fats in your body and prevents the risk of heart problems and stroke (a condition that causes reduced oxygen supply to the brain).
Rosuvas F (5/160 mg) Tablet has some side effects like headache, nausea, weakness, muscle pain, and stomach pain. These side effects are mild and may subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if these side effects last for a long time or become severe. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medicine as it may cause liver damage. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it.

When not to use?
Allergy

Liver disease

Gallbladder disease
Rosuvas F (5/160 mg) Tablet is not recommended for use if you have any conditions affecting your gallbladder such as gallstones (solid deposits that develop in your gallbladder, a small pouch that stores bile produced by the liver). This medicine may further increase the risk of gallstones due to increased excretion of cholesterol into the bile (a fluid produced in the liver that helps in digestion).

Dosage
Missed Dose
Do not skip any dose of Rosuvas F (5/160 mg) Tablet. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed one.
Overdose
