Nurokind OD Injection (Methylcobalamin 1500mcg)

NUROKIND OD INJECTION 1ML belongs to a group ‘Vitamins’ which is used in the treatment of peripheral neuropathies, megaloblastic anaemia caused by vitamin B12 deficiency. Vitamin B12 is a vital dietary nutrient and deficiency of vitamin B12 can lead to peripheral neuropathy, megaloblastic anaemia, and many other serious conditions.

NUROKIND OD INJECTION 1ML contains methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12, which helps to protect the nerves from damage and also helps to promote blood cell production. It regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Take NUROKIND OD INJECTION 1ML with or without food. Swallow NUROKIND OD INJECTION 1ML as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or break the tablet. You are advised to take NUROKIND OD INJECTION 1ML for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and headache. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you have signs of an allergic reaction such as swelling of the face, lips, or tongue, breathing problems.

To treat your condition effectually, continue taking NUROKIND OD INJECTION 1ML for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Please do not stop taking NUROKIND OD INJECTION 1ML without consulting your doctor. Do not take NUROKIND OD INJECTION 1ML if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. NUROKIND OD INJECTION 1ML should be given to children as advised by your doctor. Keep your doctor informed about your present and past medical history and about your ongoing medicines to rule out any side effects.

Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin) is a coenzyme form of vitamin B12. It regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It is also used in the treatment of alcoholic neuropathy, pernicious anaemia (red blood cells are not produced due to Vitamin B12 deficiency), diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to high blood sugar levels), and multiple sclerosis (immune system disease affecting the brain).

If you are using NUROKIND OD INJECTION 1ML in lozenge, disintegrating tablet, or sublingual tablet form do not swallow the whole of it. Instead, allow it to dissolve in your mouth without chewing. If you are using a sublingual tablet then it should be kept under the tongue.Injection: A healthcare professional will administer the injection, so do not self-administer. It is injected into a muscle, maybe 1 to 3 times per week.
