Description

Metpure-H (12.5/50 mg) Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. Frequent monitoring of blood pressure and electrolytes level is necessary during treatment with this medicine.

This medicine is used in the treatment of high blood pressure which may be caused by genetic or environmental factors.

When not to use?

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to hydrochlorothiazide, other sulfonamides, metoprolol, other beta-blockers, or any other inactive ingredients present along with these medicines.
Anuria
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with anuria, a condition where the kidney is unable to produce urine.
Heart diseases
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with heart diseases such as a heart block, sinus bradycardia, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, or sick sinus syndrome since it may worsen the patient’s condition.
Circulatory disorders
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with circulatory disorders due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.

Pregnancy

Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
