Dextomid 50Mcg Injection is used as a supplementary agent for the purpose of analgesia and sedation in pediatric patients undergoing intensive medical care. It can also be used to prevent delirium and postanesthesia shivers.

On using this drug you may experience side effects such as hyperglycemia, hypoglycaemia, agitation, hallucination, etc. If the reactions persist make sure to contact your health care provider without delay. Do not use this medication if you are allergic to it.
