Description

Combimist L Respicap is a combination of Ipratropium and Levosalbutamol. This medicine is used to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulties, coughing, etc. caused by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (lung disorder in which the airflow is blocked which leads to breathing difficulty). It works by relaxing and widening the muscles in your airways.

Combimist L Respicap may cause some side effects like headache, cough, mouth dryness, nausea, constipation, etc. Inform your doctor if the side effects become severe or persist for a long time.

Combimist L Respicap should be used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. For the ease of remembering, use it around the same time every day. Even if you see an improvement in your condition, do not stop taking it. If you discontinue the use of this medicine too soon, your symptoms may return or worsen.

Combimist L Respicap is not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age. Inform your doctor about any other health issues like liver, kidney, heart troubles or if you are undergoing any medical treatment before taking this medicine. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

Dosage

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of Combimist L Respicap, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it’s almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact your doctor in case of an overdose of Combimist L Respicap.

General Instructions

It may cause a dry mouth. Use mouth rinses, maintain dental hygiene, increase water consumption, and consume sugarless sweets to avoid dry mouth.
To avoid fungal infections in your mouth and throat, gargle with warm water after each inhalation.
Take the initial dose of this medication under medical supervision because it might induce wheezing or tightness of your airways (bronchospasm) right after usage.
