Description

Carca 40 MG Tablet CR is an antihypertensive medication that is used to lower the blood pressure and also to treat heart failure. This medicine is not recommended for use in children.

Hypertension
This medicine is used for the treatment of hypertension which is an increase in the blood pressure caused by genetic and environmental factors.
Congestive Heart Failure
This medicine is used for the treatment of congestive heart failure, which is a type of heart disease, characterized by thickening of the walls of the left ventricle and reduced blood circulation to the body.
Left Ventricular Dysfunction
This medicine is used for the treatment of left ventricular dysfunction, which is a type of heart disease that lowers the pumping capacity of the heart.

When not to use?

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to carvedilol, other beta-blockers, or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.
Lung diseases
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from lung diseases like asthma, bronchospasm, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Heart block greater than first degree
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with second or third-degree heart block due to the risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.
Severe bradycardia
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe bradycardia (slow heart rate than normal) due to the increased risk of worsening the patient’s condition.
Cardiogenic shock
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with cardiogenic shock due to the increased risk of worsening the patient’s condition.
Severe liver impairment
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver impairment due to the increased risk of worsening the patient’s condition.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
