Betnovate GM Cream

Betnovate-GM Cream is used to treat skin infections responsive to steroids and where bacterial or fungal infections exist. It also helps to relieve redness, swelling, and itching associated with skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema or ichthyosis.

Betnovate-GM Cream may rarely cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These symptoms last only for a very few days and disappear with time. Do not use this cream if you are previously allergic to it.

Apply a thin layer of Betnovate-GM Cream to the affected areas 1-2 times a day. Wash and dry the affected areas before application. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth. Keep the affected area clean and dry because the presence of water can increase microbial growth. If the symptoms are not resolved within seven days, consult your doctor before continuing the treatment.

It may also be used to relieve redness, swelling, and itching associated with skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema or ichthyosis.

When not to use?

Allergy
Avoid using Betnovate-GM Cream if you are previously allergic to it. Serious allergic reactions to this medicine are very rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as skin rash, hives, redness of the skin, itching, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Apply the missed dose of Betnovate-GM Cream as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
The ingestion of Betnovate-GM Cream may cause harm and immediate medical intervention is required.

General Instructions

Apply a thin layer of Betnovate-GM Cream to the affected area as instructed by the doctor. Finish your entire course of treatment even if your symptoms begin to clear up after a few days. If the symptoms are not resolved within seven days, consult your doctor before continuing the treatment.
