Description

Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the nose, throat, tonsils, ear, lungs, skin, etc. It works by blocking the formation of proteins required for bacterial growth. Thus, it prevents further bacterial growth and multiplication. This medicine is only effective for bacterial infections.

Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse may cause some common side effects such as stomach pain, diarrhoea, nausea, headache, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or if they become severe. Avoid activities like driving vehicles and operating machines as this medicine may make you feel dizzy.

Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse can be taken with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor. Your dose will depend on the severity of your condition. Try taking this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of medicine in your body. Community-Acquired Pneumonia
Community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) refers to pneumonia (lung infection) that is acquired in a community setting. CAP can be bacterial or viral. Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse is used to treat CAP caused by bacteria by reducing the swelling in the lungs and alveoli (tiny air sacs inside the lungs).
Pharyngitis/Tonsilitis
Pharyngitis and tonsillitis are infections that cause swelling and soreness in the throat and tonsils. If this infection affects both the throat and the tonsils, then it would be called pharyngotonsillitis. Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse is used to treat pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and/or pharyngotonsillitis.
Skin and soft tissue infections
Skin and soft tissue infections occur when the bacteria invade the skin and its supporting structures. Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse is used to treat all skin infections including abscesses (pain due to accumulation of pus) caused by bacteria.
Acute bacterial Sinusitis
Sinusitis is the swelling sinuses (hollow spaces inside your skull). It is often caused by bacteria and sometimes, viruses and fungi. You may experience a stuffed nose and pain or pressure behind your eyes, nose, cheeks, or forehead. Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse is used to treat bacterial sinusitis and provides relief in three to eight weeks.
Acute bacterial otitis media
Acute Otitis media (AOM), is an infection of the middle ear (the area behind the eardrum), common in infants and young children. Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse is used to treat acute otitis media caused by bacteria.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose of Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse as soon as possible. If it is already time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose.
Overdose
If you suspect that you or someone else might have taken an overdose of Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse, seek immediate medical attention.

General Instructions

Take Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse as instructed by your doctor. Drink plenty of water with it to avoid stomach irritation. Shake the bottle well before use.

Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse is given for a short period. Hence, it is important to complete the whole treatment for maximum benefits.

Complete the course of treatment to prevent re-infection. In such cases, it might be hard to treat infections as bacteria develop the ability to fight against antibiotics.

Check the expiry date before using Azee Xl 200 MG Rediuse. Throw the unused medicine safely after the expiry date. Keep it away from children and pets.
