Ebility Tablet

Ebility Tablet is a painkiller and a combination of Diclofenac, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase. It is used to relieve pain in conditions like headache, mild migraines, muscle pain, joint pain, tooth pain, joint pain, menstrual pain, ankylosing spondylitis (pain due to fusion of bones in the spine), osteoarthritis (pain on movement due to wearing of the protective covering at the ends of the bones) and rheumatoid arthritis (body’s immunity attacks the joints and damages it).

Ebility Tablet may cause some side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, and heartburn. If any of these side effects persist for a long time, consult your doctor. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it.

Ebility Tablet is recommended to be taken with food to avoid an upset stomach. Your doctor may prescribe antacids along with this medicine to overcome stomach irritation. He will also decide the dose and duration of the medicine depending on your condition.

Ebility Tablet has to be taken with caution if you have peptic ulcers or any medical conditions of your liver and kidney. Ebility Tablet may interact with alcohol and you may see an increase in the side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and stomach bleeding.

Ebility Tablet may impact or get affected by other medications. Inform your doctor about all your current medications. Do not take other medications that have Paracetamol in them without consulting your doctor. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding you should consult your doctor before taking this medication.

Uses of Ebility Tablet

What is it prescribed for?
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a condition when your body’s immune system attacks the lining of your small joints. It may also affect other parts of your body. Ebility Tablet is used to relieve swelling and pain in the joints due to RA.
Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis. In OA, the flexible tissue at the ends of the bones wears down leading to friction. This causes pain, stiffness, and swelling. Ebility Tablet is used to relieve pain and stiffness due to OA.
Ankylosing Spondylitis
Ankylosing Spondylitis is a kind of arthritis that mainly affects the spine causing the small bones of your spinal cord to fuse together. This leads to inflammation, pain and deformity, and a decrease in the flexibility of your spine. Ebility Tablet is used to relieve stiffness and pain (especially in the lower back, hip, and pelvis) associated with ankylosing spondylitis.
Mild to Moderate pain
Ebility Tablet is used to relieve pain and swelling in conditions like back pain, earache, throat pain, toothache, abdominal pain during periods, and muscle injury.

When not to use?

Allergy
Do not take Ebility Tablet if you are allergic to it. If you notice any symptoms of an allergic reaction, such as skin rash, itching/swelling (particularly of your face/tongue/throat), extreme dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc., seek emergency medical treatment.
Kidney failure
Long-term use of high doses of some painkillers may damage normal kidney function. Ebility Tablet is not advised for use in individuals with severe kidney problems. People with kidney troubles should consult their doctor before taking this medicine.
Severe liver impairment
Ebility Tablet is harmful to your liver when taken for a long period or in high doses. This medicine is not recommended if you have severe liver problems. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
Active peptic ulcer
A peptic ulcer is an open sore that occurs on the inner lining of your stomach and the upper region of your small intestine. Ebility Tablet is an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine) that can induce stomach ulcers, bleeding, or holes in the intestine if taken for a long time. This medicine is not recommended if you already have ulcers as it may worsen your condition.

Dosage

Missed Dose
If you have missed the scheduled dose of Ebility Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If the delay period is more than 12 hours, do not take the missed dose. Take the next dose as per schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose. Seek emergency medical treatment in case you suspect an overdose of Ebility Tablet.
